Internal medicine residents take advantage of numerous educational resources available at our tertiary care center. Some examples include simulation skill development and procedure workshops, research and quality improvement (QI) courses, and our specialty tracks Clinician Educator Track (CET), Community Outreach Leadership Track (COLT), and Osteopathic Recognition (OR) just to name a few.
If you need it, we have it! Geisinger Medical Center is equipped with more than sixty intensive care unit beds, thirty-eight operating rooms, state-of-the-art imaging modalities, full breadth of subspecialty services among medical and surgical departments, compassionate bedside nurses and staff and dedicated internal medicine core faculty, residents and medical students.

This year, we will be conducting only virtual interviews, as per recommendations set forth by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) ERAS Advisory Committee Workgroup and the Coalition for Physician Accountability. The interview process takes place from November through January. Prior to your interview, candidates will have the opportunity to get an in-depth view of the unique aspects of our program and will be able to find many answers to their questions. Each applicant selected to interview will virtually meet with members of the residency leadership and will have time to spend with current residents.
